Football Game Preview: Cleburne County Tigers vs. Bullock County Hornets + Official Tickets

The Cleburne County Tigers will take on the Bullock County Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleburne County will be strutting in after a victory while Bullock County will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cleburne County faced off against Munford on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 27-7 win.

SILAS HUNT had a dynamite game, rushing for 52 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Bullock County entered their game against Booker T. Washington on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets fell 25-18 to the Golden Eagles. The Hornets gained 167 more yards on the day, but it was the Golden Eagles that made the best use of them.

Cleburne County will have to contain Tyekelis Wallace as he made an impact in Bullock County's last game. He rushed for 133 yards and one TD.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 2.4 yards per carry. While three picked up at least one total tackle, Wallace stood above the rest. He rushed for 133 yards and one score. Bullock County didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged seven.

Cleburne County's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bullock County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
