Baseball Recap: Coppell Comes Up Short

Coppell fell victim to Flower Mound and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-0. The Cowboys haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-2. As for Flower Mound, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-1 record this season.

While Coppell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
