Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus New Berlin + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Unity Christian walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Berlin Pretzels on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Unity Christian never let New Berlin on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23.

Unity Christian's offense was headlined by Cameron Brown and Laila Turner, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Sadie Reiterman and her 16 assists. Turner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why New Berlin lost, don't look at Haylee Rister. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs.

The win was the fourth in a row for Unity Christian, bringing their record up to 28-8. As for New Berlin, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-18.

Unity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Athens on the 30th. New Berlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
