Basketball Recap: Traip Comes Up Short

Traip lost against York back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Traip Rangers had to suffer through a 84-54 loss at the hands of the York Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Wildcats are ranked sixth).

Traip has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for York, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Traip does not have any more games scheduled as of now. York has already played their next matchup (against Cape Elizabeth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
