Football Game Recap: Pea Ridge vs. Prairie Grove

Pea Ridge might be getting used to good results now that the squad have five wins in a row. They were able to grind out a solid win over Prairie Grove on Friday, winning 38-29.

Pea Ridge's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 22 first-half points. Prairie Grove countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 22-14 going into the half. The offense for Pea Ridge continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 16 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 5-2. The loss dropped Prairie Grove's record to 3-4.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Pea Ridge will be playing at home against Berryville at at 7:00 PM next week. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both of those teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Prairie Grove, they will face off against Gentry.
