Ladysmith has gone 8-2 against Spooner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Ladysmith Lumberjacks will venture away from home to challenge the Spooner Rails at 7:00 p.m. Ladysmith knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Spooner likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Ladysmith got the win against Ashland by a conclusive 76-53. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for the Lumberjacks this season.

Meanwhile, Spooner had to suffer through a 78-51 loss at the hands of Cumberland. The defeat continues a trend for the Rails in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now lost five in a row.

Ladysmith's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Spooner, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Ladysmith against Spooner in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 86-50 win. Will Ladysmith repeat their success, or does Spooner have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
