Baseball Recap: Easley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Easley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past the Woodmont Wildcats 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Green Wave: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

The team relied heavily on Ayden Beeco, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Aaron Tolbert was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Easley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Woodmont, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Easley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-8 loss against Science Hill on the 21st. As for Woodmont, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against J.L. Mann on the 25th.
