Basketball Recap: Haralson County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ranburne last Thursday, Haralson County came back down to earth. The Haralson County Rebels came up short against the Cedartown Bulldogs on Friday, falling 58-37. The Rebels have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Haralson County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cedartown, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haralson County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bowdon at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Bowdon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Cedartown, they will square off against Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
