Basketball Recap: Middle Tennessee Christian Takes a Loss

Middle Tennessee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 82-33 loss at the hands of the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 88-56 back in January.

Middle Tennessee Christian's record now sits at 2-19. As for Battle Ground Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars take on the Grace Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Middle Tennessee Christian likes a good challenge. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will welcome Columbia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
