Basketball Recap: Dehondre Hayes and Ayden Ramirez Secure Win for Freer

Freer's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ben Bolt Badgers as the Freer Buckaroos made off with a 62-36 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Buckaroos have posted against the Badgers since February 7, 2022.

Leading Freer to victory were Ayden Ramirez and Dehondre Hayes. Ramirez posted 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Hayes put up 18 points and seven boards. With that strong performance, Ramirez is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Joesph Serna, who had seven points and eight boards.

Freer's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-12. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Ben Bolt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
