Recap: Sky View Bobcats vs. Bear River Bears
The Sky View Bobcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Bear River 56-21 at home. The result was nothing new for Sky View, who have now won five matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Brevin Egbert had a dynamite game for Sky View, rushing for 272 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Egbert hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Thatcher, who threw for 211 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes.
Sky View's win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Bear River, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Sky View will face off against Green Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Green Canyon is ranked 33rd, while Sky View is ranked 14th). Bear River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
