Volleyball Game Preview: Severance Silver Knights vs. Timnath Cubs + How To Watch

The Severance Silver Knights will head out to challenge the Timnath Cubs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Severance has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Timnath will arrive with five straight wins.

Severance saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Sterling.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sterling scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Timnath got the win against Greeley Central on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Timnath not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Greeley Central between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Timnath's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Severance, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Severance suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Timnath in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Silver Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
