Basketball Recap: Franklin Piles Up the Points Against West Henderson

Franklin came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the West Henderson Falcons to the tune of 73-43. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Franklin was led to victory by Jack Jack Teesateskie and Max McClure. Teesateskie went 10 for 22 en route to 25 points and four steals, while McClure almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. What's more, McClure also racked up six assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Braylen Dezarn was another key player, going 6 of 10 to rack up 14 points and four steals.

Franklin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tucker Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Robinson now owns an excellent 46.8% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Nash, who posted six points and 12 boards.

Franklin pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for West Henderson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Henderson, they are taking a road trip to take on Tuscola at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Henderson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season.
