Baseball Game Preview: Hallettsville Brahmas vs. Tidehaven Tigers

The Hallettsville Brahmas will face off against the Tidehaven Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallettsville will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Tidehaven's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Hallettsville hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Hallettsville never let Rice Consolidated get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. The Brahmas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tidehaven's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Yoakum by a score of 5-4.

Hallettsville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tidehaven, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1.
