Baseball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stanton Blue Devils. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Xaydrien McGriff was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Yaxiel Santiago, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Parker now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Stanton, their record is now an identical 10-11.

Looking ahead, Parker will take on Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Stanton, they will face off against Menendez at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
