Football Recap: Lower Merion Takes a Loss

Lower Merion lost against Springfield back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aces had to suffer through a 62-21 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Aces were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Lower Merion and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Springfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lower Merion will challenge rival Garnet Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Springfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Penncrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
