Basketball Recap: Prairie Grove Takes a Loss

Prairie Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gentry Pioneers. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 56-31 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Prairie Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Gentry, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.

Prairie Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-28 win against Green Forest on the 17th. Gentry has also already played their next game, a 63-49 defeat against Berryville on the 17th.
