Volleyball Recap: Chandler Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chandler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Casteel Colts, falling 3-0. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Colts when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-11.

Chandler's offense was headlined by Tay Sralik and Jaelyn Sasik, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Brooke Mehlberg and her 18 assists. Destiny McKee controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Casteel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Chandler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pinnacle on the 10th. As for Casteel, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Hamilton on the 14th.
