Basketball Recap: Staples-Motley Comes Up Short

Staples-Motley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Osakis Silverstreaks 73-40. The Cardinals lost against the Silverstreaks in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-38 score last time.

Staples-Motley's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Osakis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Staples-Motley has already played their next matchup, a 75-38 defeat against Frazee on the 28th. As for Osakis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-40 loss against Holdingford on the 28th.
