A Season-Best Effort from Jace Schukar Leads Loomis over Hitchcock County
Jace Schukar produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Loomis to the win on Thursday. Schukar rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
The win for Loomis keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Schukar and Loomis will venture away from home to challenge Bertrand at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cambridge found a leader in Jayden Ruf as the team took down Maywood/Hayes Center on Thursday. Ruf was unstoppable, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making four total tackles, and defending a pass.
Overton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Muirhead and Overton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cambridge at 2:15 p.m.

Thunder Nelson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made eight total tackles.
