Columbia City posted their closest win since March 24th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Huntington North Vikings 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three contests in a row.

Columbia City was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 17-25, 23-25, 25-10, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Huntington North still got an impressive performance from Carter Smith, who had 15 digs.

Columbia City's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Huntington North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
