Softball Preview: Churchville-Chili Saints vs. Brockport Blue Devils
Churchville-Chili hasn't had much luck against Brockport recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Saints will host the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Churchville-Chili will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Churchville-Chili came out on top against Canandaigua Academy on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Saints were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Braves. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Bailey DiGiacomo was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carly Carpenter, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Jordan Sassone was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
