Basketball Preview: Webster Bearcats vs. Redfield Pheasants
The Webster Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redfield Pheasants at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Webster came up short against the Panthers and fell 40-28. Webster has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Redfield suffered a tough 58-32 defeat at the hands of the Battlers on Tuesday.
Webster has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Redfield, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.
Things could have been worse for Webster, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-31 loss to the Pheasants when the teams last played back in February of 2023.
