The Bunnell Bulldogs will square off against the Shelton Gaels at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Bunnell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Sunday as neither Bunnell nor Newtown made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Nighthawks by a score of 6-5.
