Baseball Recap: Richards Gets the Win

Richards came out on top against Tilden on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Warriors walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Blue Devils. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Axel Martinez-Garcia was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Alfredo Apunte was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Richards' record is now 5-0. As for Tilden, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Richards is taking a road trip to square off against Perspectives Leadership/Technology at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tilden, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hyde Park at 2:00 p.m.
