After both having extra time off, the Wayne Pioneers and the Nitro Wildcats will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.

Wayne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Chapmanville Regional as Wayne made off with a 3-0 victory.

While Nitro was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Winfield's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.
