After both having extra time off, the Wayne Pioneers and the Nitro Wildcats will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.

Meanwhile, Nitro suffered their biggest loss since October 8th last Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Winfield. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost six in a row.
While Nitro was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Winfield's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.
Nitro's loss dropped their record down to 13-25-1. As for Wayne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-17-4 record this season.
