Churchill managed to keep up with Canton until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chargers came up short against the Cobras, falling 6-1. The result was nothing new for Churchill as the team has yet to pick up a win this season.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Canton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Churchill will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. Stevenson will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Churchill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canton, they will head out on the road to face off against Edsel Ford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
