Basketball Recap: Bethany Community Takes a Loss

If Bethany Community was riding high fresh off their 64-39 takedown of Clover Garden School last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bethany Community Wolves fell 42-29 to the Carver Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The Wolves have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bethany Community now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Carver, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Bethany Community won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gray Stone Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethany Community is facing Gray Stone Day at the right time seeing as Gray Stone Day is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Carver, they will take on Bishop McGuinness at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
