Soccer Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Reagan can now relate to. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Taft Raiders who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Taft Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Reagan Rattlers' two. The Rattlers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Brooke Benne and Emilee Durante scored both of Reagan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 15-5-3. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

As of now, neither Reagan nor Taft have any future games scheduled.
