Volleyball Recap: Loma Linda Academy Falls Short of Panorama in the Playoffs

Loma Linda Academy and Panorama squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Loma Linda Academy had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pythons. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Loma Linda Academy couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Panorama a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-13, 30-28.

Rocky Mendoza paced Loma Linda Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mendoza got some help from Chloe Im and her 32 assists. Mendoza was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Loma Linda Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Panorama, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-14.

Loma Linda Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panorama, they will head out to face off against East Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
