Barr-Reeve skates past Washington Catholic with ease

Recap: Barr-Reeve Vikings vs. Washington Catholic Cardinals

The Barr-Reeve Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Washington Catholic, posting a 79-24 win on the road. The win was familiar territory for Barr-Reeve who now have ten in a row.

Barr-Reeve got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braydon Knepp out in front who scored nine points along with six assists and three steals. Knepp is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Pauw, who scored 12 points along with three blocks.

Barr-Reeve's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Washington Catholic, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barr-Reeve is on the road again on Friday and play against Loogootee at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Loogootee is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Washington Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Wood Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
