Football Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southeast last Friday, Carrollton came back down to earth. The Trojans were outmatched by the Knob Noster Panthers and fell 55-22. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Conner Morris had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 114 yards and four scores on only 15 carries for Knob Noster. James Williams did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 140 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carrollton fell to 4-1. As for Knob Noster, their record is now 5-0.

Carrollton and Knob Noster will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans will square off against rival Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Knob Noster is set to challenge their familiar foe Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
