Recap: Beachside Barracudas vs. Wolfson Wolfpack
The Beachside Barracudas can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wolfson 83-4 on the road. Beachside's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Beachside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ari Walker, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five assists. Kendall Kane was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds.
The victory was the 14th in a row for Beachside, bringing their record for this year to 18-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Wolfson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Beachside will be playing in front of their home fans against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beachside is coming into the contest with 11 straight victories at home, meaning Paxon School For Advanced Studies will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Wolfson, they will head out on the road to square off against Atlantic Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic Coast presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wolfson in Florida (Atlantic Coast is ranked 105th, while Wolfson is ranked 549th).
