Softball Recap: Circleville Tigers vs. Central Crossing Comets

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Circleville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Central Crossing Comets.

Kayla Fleck made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing eight innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits. Fleck was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
