Preview: East Mecklenburg vs. Community School of Davidson
The East Mecklenburg Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Community School of Davidson Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Last Tuesday, East Mecklenburg kept a clean sheet against Palisades. They had just enough and edged the Pumas out 1-0. East Mecklenburg wouldn't have won without Brandy Sanchez, who scored the game-winner.
Community School of Davidson kicked off their season on the road last Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. Their rough 5-1 defeat to Davidson Day might stick with them for a while.
East Mecklenburg now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Community School of Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
