Basketball Game Preview: Whitehorse Raiders vs. Red Mesa Redskins

The Whitehorse Raiders will square off against the Red Mesa Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Whitehorse's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Last Friday, Whitehorse came up short against Monticello and fell 81-68.

Whitehorse's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hyatt Thomas, who posted 21 points, and Adam Joe, who put up 19 points. The dominant performance gave Joe a new career-high in points. Kalin Tohonnie was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Red Mesa suffered their biggest defeat since January 31, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by El Capitan 86-28. The Redskins have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Red Mesa now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Whitehorse, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

Whitehorse was able to grind out a solid victory over Red Mesa in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 53-41. Does Whitehorse have another victory up their sleeve, or will Red Mesa turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
