Basketball Game Preview: Cloverleaf Colts vs. Coventry Comets

The Cloverleaf Colts will be taking part in a tournament against the Coventry Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cloverleaf has given up an average of 62.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Saturday, Cloverleaf lost to Andrews Osborne Academy on the road by a 69-50 margin.

Meanwhile, Coventry ended up a good deal behind Canton South on Saturday and lost 52-38.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Cloverleaf, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Cloverleaf was able to grind out a solid win over Coventry in their previous meeting on February 3rd, winning 61-51. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
