Softball Recap: Hale Center Finds Playoff Glory Versus New Home

It's playoff time, and Hale Center had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the New Home Leopards with a sharp 20-4 win on Saturday. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Hale Center has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for New Home, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Hale Center will square off against Clarendon on Saturday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Owls surely won't give up without a fight. New Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
