Baseball Recap: Falls City Comes Up Short

Falls City lost a heartbreaker to Bishop LeBlond when they met back in April of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Blakley Sells made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Willman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Bishop LeBlond, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Coming up, Falls City will take on Omaha South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop LeBlond has already played their next game (against Trenton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
