Basketball Game Preview: Cahokia Comanches vs. Carbondale Terriers

Cahokia is on a five-game streak of home losses, Carbondale a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. The Cahokia Comanches will welcome the Carbondale Terriers at 12:30 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Cahokia took a blow against Belleville West, falling 62-24.

Meanwhile, Carbondale had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against Marion by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46.

Cahokia's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Carbondale, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Cahokia was taken down by Carbondale 68-17 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cahokia was down 48-6.
