Kutztown has gone 9-1 against Tulpehocken recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Kutztown has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Tulpehocken will arrive with three straight wins.

Kutztown's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Northwestern Lehigh hitters got past them. The Cougars took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Thursday.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Tulpehocken ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past Berks Catholic 10-8. Ten seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jared Baer was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Tulpehocken's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Kutztown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Kutztown beat Tulpehocken 6-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
