Tyler HEAT proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers 7-6. This was payback for Tyler HEAT, who suffered a 13-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Austin Chamberlain was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Truman Young, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Tyler HEAT now has a winning record of 3-2. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

When Tyler HEAT and East Texas Homeschool Sports next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tyler HEAT will try to stop North Texas C's six-game winning streak when they meet at 3:00 p.m. on March 21st. Tyler HEAT is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season. Similarly, East Texas Homeschool Sports will take on West Houston HomeSchool and their three-game winning streak at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
