Football Game Preview: Lord Botetourt Cavaliers vs. Magna Vista Warriors

Lord Botetourt is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past William Byrd with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. The win was familiar territory for the Cavaliers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Magna Vista over Carroll County in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Warriors blew the Cavaliers out of the water with a 64-28 final score. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Magna Vista's win came from a few key players Lord Botetourt will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trey Martin, who picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Magna Vista's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lord Botetourt, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
