Basketball Game Preview: Lake Central Indians vs. Carmel Greyhounds

The Lake Central Indians and the Carmel Greyhounds will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Lake Central is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Lake Central didn't have quite enough to beat Mishawaka Marian and fell 59-56.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carmel). They breezed by Kokomo to the tune of 74-36 on Saturday. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Wildkats are ranked 54th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Carmel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
