Volleyball Game Preview: Benjamin Davis Falcons vs. MacArthur Generals

Benjamin Davis is 2-8 against MacArthur since November of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Generals at 5:30 p.m.

Benjamin Davis lost 3-0 to Westfield on Friday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Westfield scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

MacArthur extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Vivian Reyes. The Generals blew past Dekaney 3-0 on Friday thanks in part to Reyes, who had 12 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant MacArthur was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-4, 25-14.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 12-22. As for Benjamin Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-18.

Benjamin Davis came up short against MacArthur in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
