Basketball Recap: Model Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Model never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Berea on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over the Berea Pirates. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 66-60 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Model's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points over those games. As for Berea, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Model will host Owsley County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Owsley County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Model likes a good challenge. As for Berea, they will square off against Casey County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
