Green had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Notre Dame Titans, sneaking past 58-56. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-54 back in January.

Green's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matti Hayslip led the charge by going 6 of 12 on her way to 19 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Abbie Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards.

Hayslip wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Green was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauryn Trinidad, who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Trinidad a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianne Hicks, who went 5 of 6 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Green's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Green and Notre Dame should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Green will challenge Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 411 places (226 vs. 637). Similarly, Notre Dame (ranked 342nd) will meet East (ranked 774th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
