Hillsboro waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals 11-1. The Burros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Cyrus Conner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drake McDowell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Hillsboro's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
