Volleyball Game Preview: Flambeau Falcons vs. Cornell Chiefs

The Flambeau Falcons will challenge the Cornell Chiefs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Flambeau is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Clayton just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Sunday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. Considering the last time the Falcons couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Cornell lost 3-0 to Bruce on Tuesday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cornell took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 27-25.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Flambeau, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
