Softball Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Barbourville on Friday, Jackson County came back down to earth. The Generals took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay County Tigers on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 back in April.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Clay County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-15.

As of now, neither Jackson County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
